A World of Tea
Welcome to the wonderful world of tea, a cornucopia of exciting delights! We are but a small fish in a mighty ocean of tea. Our task is to bring to you some of the finest teas from gardens around our humble globe. So, if you’re looking for a malty morning cup of pick-me-up Assam or a relaxing rose pouchong for the evening, we shall endeavour to delight your tea pot!
Tea is a natural crop, so availability of some does indeed vary according to harvest and weather conditions. One year may be a bumper and full flavoured crop, and the next year not so good. Likewise, a single origin crop can vary, season by season, giving us the job of seeking out the very best.
We will always try to acquire new teas as they come on to the market. Some stay for years, others a season’s one off. So take the opportunity to try some. Likewise, if you have a personal blend you covet, don’t hesitate to ask! For example have you ever wondered what all the letters after a Tea’s name mean? See Mr Harvey’s Tea Grading guide
We know that tea is an ongoing learning process. We’re here to help, listen to comments, related stories, and even advice. Your satisfaction is our goal!
